Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy, Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra, DECD Deputy Commissioner Ron Angelo and other city officials tour the ThinkitDrinkit corporate office in Hartford. Hartford’s ThinkitDrinkit Is Pioneering Nutrigenomics and Customized Nutrition
Over the past year, a pioneer in the field of nutrigenomics and customized nutrition has formed right here in Connecticut. ThinkitDrinkit, a Hartford-based startup founded by David Kania and Wayne Gryk, has developed a nutrigenomics platform and a line of health beverages that customers tailor to their individual demands, based on gender, health, life stage, and performance goals.

ThinkitDrinkit worked with CTWorks and the partnership of Capital Workforce Partners and the Connecticut Department of Labor to hire people through the Step Up program. Through this program ThinkitDrinkit has hired R&D Dieticians, Sales, Graphic Designers, Industrial Researchers and Designers, Customer Service, Web Developer, Nutritionist and Nutrition Researchers, Accountant, Social Media Coordinators, Administrative Assistant and Quality Assurance position. Ten of those hired are Veterans. Those employees whose wage incentives have expired, are all still at the company, as it grows and blazes its innovative pathway in the marketplace.
